Kitty Hawk Surf Co. will host the first BIC SUP One Design Challenge on April 27th at 12:00pm. Join the Surf Co. crew for a day of fun, friendly competition at our Manteo location. One Design boards will be provided for a level playing field where you can work on basics of SUP in a group environment. Sign up will be at 12:00 with mini races every 15-20 minutes. We look forward to seeing you there!

Kitty Hawk Surf Company presents the first annual Outer Banks Kayak Fishing Tournament on September 22^nd. Do you like to kayak? Do you like to fish? Combine the two and show off your skills at the Outer Banks Kayak Fishing Tournament. This tournament is Pure Outer Banks! You can choose to fish the Ocean or the Sound from Kitty Hawk Pier to Hatteras Inlet. Fish a mile offshore in the Atlantic Ocean to 5 miles inland allowing you to fish in the Roanoke, Albemarle, and Pamlico Sound. You decide where the fish might bite.The first twenty people to register will receive an Engel dry box full of fishing fun!

Join Kitty Hawk Kites and Kitty Hawk Surf Co. at the Ramada Plaza in Kill Devil Hills (mile post 9.5) for the 12th Annual Ocean Games! On Saturday, August 25, bring your crew out to the beach behind the Ramada for a day of fun! Ocean Games is the best day on the beach all summer! We’ll have kayak races all day long. Anyone who wants to rent a kayak or paddleboard can do for free!

The Suptastic is a 2-4 mile WPA Sanctioned Stand Up Paddleboard Race on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The stand up paddleboard race will start at the Festival Park Bridge in Manteo, NC. The race will go into Shallow Bag Bay and around Roanoke Island Festival Park.

Sandsculpt USA (a professional sandsculpture company) will be on hand sculpting a huge sand creation! Come watch them work on this enormous sand castle all day on Wednesday, and until 2pm on Thursday. If you want to see sculpting from of the best in the world, be sure to stop by on Wednesday BEFORE noon on Thursday. At 2pm on Thursday, hang around for the Sand Clinic, given by the pro’s from Sandtastic! Be sure to sign up for our Sand Castle competitions as well!
