UPCOMING EVENTS
Kitty Hawk Surf Co. hosts and participates in numerous annual events that occur on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Our most popular recurring events include SUPtastic, the Outer Banks Kayak Fishing Tournament, Light up the Night, and the BIC SUP One Design Series Challenge. We also work closely with our parent company, Kitty Hawk Kites, to coordinate a dozen or so events each year. Many of our events are free, and are guaranteed to be a great time for all.
Outer Banks Fly Into Spring

Kitty Hawk Kites will be starting off the 2025 season with the annual “Fly into Spring & Easter Eggstravaganza!” Come join the Kitty Hawk Kites crew April 3rd-4th at Jockey’s Ridge Crossing to celebrate the start of a new season on the Outer Banks.

Surfrider Foundation Spring Beach Cleanup

Kitty Hawk Kites is partnering with Surfrider Foundation to host a series of beach cleanups. Participants will meet at the Soundside Rd. public sound access. Once volunteers have checked in, they will receive gloves, cleanup bags, and will be free to clean up a stretch of beach of their own choosing. Whether it be their favorite spot to hang out or their home beach access.
54th Annual Hang Gliding Spectacular

20th Annual Outer Banks Watermelon Festival
