STAND UP PADDLEBOARD RENTALS
Corolla, Duck, Nags Head,
Manteo, Hatteras Island
2 Hours – 1 Week
Rent a stand up paddleboard and see why this is the Outer Banks’ fastest growing water sport! SUP was originally the precursor to surfing, and is easy to learn and excellent for the mind, body, and soul.
Stand up paddleboarding is relatively easy to learn (we do offer lessons as well), and in just a short amount of time, you can grab a paddle, stand onto the over-sized surfboard, and paddle around in either the sound or Atlantic Ocean. We recommend sticking to the calm sound waters if you’re new to the sport, as you can easily stand up in the sound in most areas if you fall off.
The Outer Banks is surrounded by water, and one of the best ways to explore the various bodies of water is on a SUP. You will be afforded with great views through the relatively clear water where it is possible to see crabs, fish, and other animals. More experienced paddlers can test their skills in the Atlantic surf.
Either way, you’re going to get great exercise and have a blast enjoying the Outer Banks in a fun, exciting way that some say is almost like, “walking on water!”
Kitty Hawk Surf Co. offers a top quality selection of paddleboards for rental and for purchase.
